Dolly Parton’s Legacy & Psychedelic Art for Veterans 🎨🇺🇸
What do Dolly Parton, psychedelic art, and helping veterans have in common?
More than you'd probably expect.
In this short from The Chris & Mike Show, our conversation with Nate and Shae of Soul Garage moves beyond music and into the bigger question of what artists can do with the platform and talents they have.
The conversation touches on the incredible legacy of Dolly Parton and how her impact reaches far beyond the songs she's written and performed. It's a reminder that sometimes an artist's greatest legacy isn't just the work they leave behind, but what they do for other people along the way.
That connects directly with Shae's own visual art and her involvement in a psychedelic inspired art project supporting veterans through Heroic Hearts.
Music. Art. Service. Veterans.
They might seem like completely different worlds, but the common thread is using creativity for something bigger than yourself.
You don't have to be Dolly Parton to make an impact.
Sometimes you just take the talent you already have and find a way to use it for somebody else.
