In this clip from Episode 222 of The Chris & Mike Show, Dan Johnson joins Chris and Mike to talk about those early Guns N’ Roses years when the band felt unpredictable, raw, rebellious, and completely different from the polished rock acts surrounding them.
Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steven weren't trying to look dangerous for a marketing campaign. That chaos seemed to follow them onstage and off, and somehow that volatility helped create the chemistry behind Appetite for Destruction.
