Nashville’s Supportive Music Scene
People often think of Nashville as one giant competition, with thousands of musicians all fighting for the same opportunity.
But is that really what it's like?
In this clip from Episode 222 of The Chris & Mike Show, Dan Johnson talks with Chris and Mike about another side of Nashville: the supportive community among musicians and songwriters.
Behind the stages, studios, writers' rooms, and honky tonks are artists helping other artists, sharing ideas, making introductions, collaborating, and supporting each other's careers.
Sure, it's competitive. It's the music business.
But sometimes the person standing next to you isn't your competition at all.
They might be the person who helps open your next door.
