Soul Garage: Website Launch & Album Plans 🎸
Building a band today means doing a hell of a lot more than just writing music.
In this short from The Chris & Mike Show, Nate and Shae of Soul Garage talk about launching their website while continuing to work toward something they're clearly passionate about: finishing the album.
The conversation gets into the reality of being an independent band. You're writing songs, recording, creating artwork, building a website, producing content, promoting the music, and somehow trying to keep the creative side fun through all of it.
Soul Garage also talks about navigating today's singles driven music world while still believing in the idea of an album as a complete piece of work.
Chris and Mike get into their plans for the website, what's coming with the album, and how Nate and Shae are slowly building Soul Garage their own way rather than trying to follow somebody else's formula.
There's still work to do.
There are still songs to finish.
And there are probably still a few things sitting on that infamous to do list. 😂
But Soul Garage is building something.
The website is another step. The album is the bigger destination.
