Van Halen: Roth vs. Hagar — Pick a Side! 🤘
There are certain debates that can instantly divide a room.
David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar?
In this short from The Chris & Mike Show, Chris, Mike, and Coach Keith Dorscht jump into one of rock music’s never-ending arguments: which version of Van Halen was better?
The Roth era gave us the swagger, attitude, craziness, and unmistakable personality that helped turn Van Halen into one of the biggest rock bands in the world.
Then Sammy Hagar stepped in, and the band evolved. The sound changed, the songwriting changed, and Van Halen entered another massively successful chapter.
So which one wins?
Is Diamond Dave the only true voice of Van Halen? Or did Sammy Hagar take the band somewhere Roth couldn't?
And yes... we know some of you are already yelling at the screen. 😂
Roth or Hagar? There is NO sitting on the fence. Pick one and defend your answer in the comments!
