Episode 42: From Smoke Trails to Peanut Butter Battles
In this episode, Chris and Mike start by venting about the frustrating experience of driving behind someone who’s smoking with their window down. They explore how the smoke drifts into the cars behind and why this seemingly small act can be such a big annoyance. Next up, they break down the cost of cigarettes across different states, zeroing in on New York, where the average pack sets you back a whopping $8.53. Whether you're a smoker or just curious, these price disparities might just blow your mind. The conversation then shifts gears to the kitchen, where Chris and Mike take on the ultimate showdown: jam vs. jelly. They dive into the textures, flavors, and the best uses for each, as they passionately defend their favorites. But the culinary clash doesn’t stop there—they also tackle the ongoing peanut butter debate: super chunky or creamy? It’s a tasty debate with no easy answers. But that’s not all! Who made $70,000,000,000 in profits in the past 90 days?
Its amazing how oil companies have continued to make record profits, well, not really, after all, its a supply and demand industry. So when people post pics from 2019-2020 and how low gas prices were, it was limited demand with overwhelming supply, so of course the price was low because everyone was stuck at home due to covid. #Gas #Prices #covid #Trump

In Episode 39 of The Chris and Mike Show, the hosts delved into a comparison between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Mike praised the first 15 minutes of Trump's acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, highlighting its strength before noting that it went sideways afterward. The discussion shifted to Joe Biden, with both hosts expressing a belief in his ineptitude, and they argued that Kamala Harris is unqualified to be president. The episode also covered legal issues facing the NFL. The league is being sued by a Native American tribe whose chief was featured on the original logo, and another lawsuit has been filed by subscribers of the NFL Sunday Ticket. These subscribers claim the NFL violated antitrust laws by selling out-of-market Sunday afternoon game packages on CBS and Fox at inflated prices. The remainder of the show included the hosts' typical banter, a guest appearance by Sgt. Jakob T. Dunham of the United States Marine Corps, and more of their usual conver…

Episode 35 . Mike busts his Wrigley Field Cherry
Visiting Wrigley Field for the first time at 51 was a nostalgic and thrilling experience. The historic charm of the ballpark, with its iconic ivy-covered walls and old-school scoreboard, brought back memories of baseball's golden era. The atmosphere was electric as the Chicago Cubs took the field, and the camaraderie among fans created a sense of belonging and shared excitement. However, the joy was somewhat dampened by the exorbitant prices of food and beverages. A simple hot dog and beer cost more than a decent meal outside the stadium, making it challenging to fully enjoy the game without feeling the pinch. While the experience of being at Wrigley Field was unforgettable, the high prices made it difficult to indulge in the traditional ballpark treats and fully immerse in the fan experience without breaking the bank. Despite this, the thrill of watching the Cubs play live in such a legendary venue was a dream come true, and the atmosphere was worth every penny.
